Terms & Conditions for Participation in the Forums

Registration & participation in the Discussion Forums at www.OCMCorp.com is completely free if you agree to abide by our rules below .
 The purpose of these Forums is to promote discussion of issues related to all aspects of Global Sourcing / Outsourcing / Offshoring of Business Processes and IT Functions including the life cycle of Sourcing / Outsourcing / Offshoring initiatives.
Considering the real-time nature of these Forums, it is impossible for us to review messages or confirm the validity of information posted. Please remember that we at do not actively monitor the contents of and are not responsible for any messages posted. We do not vouch for or warrant the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any message, and are not responsible for the contents of any message.
The messages express the views of the author of the message, not necessarily the views of this BB or any entity associated with this BB. Any user who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to contact us immediately by email. We have the ability to remove objectionable messages and we will make every effort to do so, within a reasonable time frame, if we determine that removal is necessary. This is a manual process, however, so please realize that we may not be able to remove or edit particular messages immediately.
OCM Corp's decision to approve / reject postings is final. Although OCM Corp. may not and cannot review the messages posted and is not responsible for the content of any of these messages, we at OCM Corp. reserve the right to delete any message for any or no reason whatsoever without any prior notice.
You remain solely responsible for the content of your messages, and you agree to indemnify and hold harmless OCM Corp. and its stakeholders with respect to any claim based upon transmission of your messages.
What is allowed on the Forum? - Asking general questions and exchanging general information related to sourcing / outsourcing / offshoring of business processes and IT functions, such as, about best practices, myths & reality, strategy, pros and cons, industry / process or sourcing lifecycle specific questions, certifications, reasons for & effects of outsourcing / offshoring, etc.

What is NOT allowed on the Forum?

  • Sending promotional emails - Don't bother to introduce yourself or your company, don't send any marketing materials, period.
  • Identifying yourself or the company you work for. This includes identifying your name, company name, or contact information (e-mail address, phone / fax number, website URL, etc. – anything that enables personal identification or direct contact between forum members),
  • Posting any material that is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise violative of any law,
  • Posting advertisements, chain letters, pyramid schemes, and solicitations,
  • Posting any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you,
  • Posting scam / spam emails, Resumes, requests for jobs, advertisement / announcement of job openings,
  • Asking about which vendor to consider. General discussion on criteria to select vendors is completely acceptable,
  • Posting a request for contracts, RFI, RFP, RFQ,
  • Posting material where the subject and body of the message are not related,
  • Enclosed other Outsourcing / Offshoring postings in your email that nothing to do with your message,
  • Responding to just "thank you".
We respect your privacy. We will not share your contact information with any outside agency. However, we also reserve the right to reveal your identity (or whatever information we know about you) in the event of a complaint or legal action arising from any message posted by you.
Few public mail servers don't accept emails from our mailing list. If you don't receive a confirmation email, it means your mail server doesn't accept emails from us. If it is the case, use an alternate email address.
If you agree to abide by our rules above, you should check  the "YES" box on the previous screen, which will enable you to register for participation in the Discussion Forums.
